UNCF Central Florida Black Nurses Association Scholarship

The UNCF Central Florida Black Nurses Association Scholarship is awarded by the United Negro College Fund. This particular scholarship program was established to provide financial assistance to the students who are incapable of continuing their education because of lack of financial resources. As in any other scholarship grants, the UNCF Central Florida Black Nurses Association Scholarship has its own specific requirements that the potential candidate needs to possess so that he or she may be qualified to apply for this scholarship program.

Among the qualifications that the UNCF Central Florida Black Nurses Association Scholarship requires is that the applicant must be a minority resident at any of the following counties in the state of Florida such as Orange, Lake, Osceola or Seminole. The candidate is also required to be enrolled or at least planning to be enrolled in a nursing program. Aside from the already mentioned requirements, the candidate needs as well to have a grade point average of no less than 2.5 and that he or she must be taking up the nursing program at an accredited school in the state of Florida.

The scholarship award that the UNCF Central Florida Black Nurses Association Scholarship offers its recipients amounts to $5,000 which is non- renewable.
