The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Professional Nursing Scholarship was created to inspire more students who lack the financial means to continue their education and become professional nurses. Among the requirements for this scholarship program in order to be eligible to make an application is that the applicant must be a resident of Texas and also, he or she needs to be presently registered for a minimum of half a time in a program that directs him or her to land on either an associate, bachelor’s or a graduate degree in professional nursing. Part of the requirement is that the candidate must be enrolled in a Texas public or independent non- profit institution.
Students who are qualified to submit an application can be those who have been already given a license to practice as a vocational nurse. The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Professional Nursing Scholarship gives an amount of up to $3,000 of financial assistance to the fortunate recipient.
This scholarship grant has set a deadline on July 15, so those who wish to at least give it a try may file their application for scholarship before or on its actual deadline. This is truly a wonderful opportunity to the students who reside in the state of Texas because now they are given hope to finish their studies and fulfill their dreams.
The presence of the different scholarship programs is definitely great news to the students who has great desire to complete their education but are only limited because of their lack of financial means.
