The Taini Mae Kinney Scholarship was founded to offer financial support to the students who are having financial difficulties that hinders them from continuing their education. Through scholarship programs such as this one, these kinds of students are given much hope and encouragement to pursue their studies and later on achieve their dreams in their chosen field. Like any other scholarship grants, the Taini Mae Kinney Scholarship is open to both the undergraduate and the graduate students who are residents of the Northeast Kingdom area of Vermont.
Part of the qualification for this scholarship program is that the students who intend to apply for this scholarship program must pursue a degree in education and train in a health care field which includes holistic health. Another requirement for the candidate to fulfill is that he or she must display financial need as well as his or her involvement in the community and the applicant’s work and education ethic.
The Taini Mae Kinney Scholarship is awarded by the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) and the amount of scholarship award that recipients are provided is worth $1,000 and which is non- renewable. This scholarship program is available from the VSAC (Vermont Student Assistance Corporation) website. The Taini Mae Kinney Scholarship also wishes for the candidate to strictly follow the detailed instructions that are specified in the VSAC Scholarships Booklet. Before the candidate can proceed with the application, the candidate is also required to file for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
