It is definitely a fine effort to have programs that offer financial aid such as the Ship Island- Mrs. J.O. Jones Memorial Graduate Scholarship because this way, the children of the confederate soldiers are given much hope and inspiration to pursue their education further and offer a better way to give service to their fellowmen through health care. Having programs like this one certainly encourages more students to take their education to the next level so they can gain more knowledge and become better experts in the field.
