The scholarship program called Rita E. Miller Scholarship together with the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) offers financial aid to give support for continuing education. In order to qualify for this scholarship program, the candidate is required to be taking up a nursing degree program whether BSN, AD, Diploma, LPN or LVN.
Part of the requirement for Rita E. Miller Scholarship is that the candidate must also possess an excellent academic standing, and he or she needs to be a member of the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) and a local chapter if there is one that exists in the area. Another requirement that the applicant must fulfill so he or she can qualify for this scholarship program is that the candidate must only have 1 whole year of school left.
Rita E. Miller Scholarship provides up to $2,000 worth of financial assistance and the deadline set for the submission of application for this scholarship program is on April 15. Candidates who are eligible to make an application and wish to take their chance on becoming recipients for Rita E. Miller Scholarship must submit their application on or before its actual deadline.
