The North Eastern Vermont Area Health Education Center Mimi Reardon Scholarship was founded to offer financial support to the students in Vermont who are either taking up a post- secondary education or training in a field that is related to health or allied health care. This scholarship program is open to the students in Vermont who are residents of Caledonia, Essex, Lamoille, Orange, Orleans or Washington Counties.
For the student to be considered eligible for the North Eastern Vermont Area Health Education Center Mimi Reardon Scholarship, the hopeful candidate must show an intention to offer his or her service as a health care practitioner in one of the rural communities in Vermont. The Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) is the one who provides the award for this scholarship program.
The award that the recipient of this program can expect to receive is between $500 and $2,000 that is non- renewable. Students who are qualified to make an application for the North Eastern Vermont Area Health Education Center Mimi Reardon Scholarship may access the application from the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) website. The application for this scholarship program may either be completed online or in paper form.
Candidates who wish to avail of this chance must complete and submit the VSAC Unified Scholarship Application, and together with it are other supporting documents such as letter of recommendation as well as an essay.
