The National Association of Hispanic Nurses’ Scholarships is a kind of program whose objective is to provide financial assistance to the students who are in need of financial aid so they can fund their education. But in order to qualify for this scholarship grant, the student needs to possess certain requirements that are asked by the National Association of Hispanic Nurses’ Scholarships.
First to fulfill by the potential applicant is that he or she must be a member of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses, and that he or she must come from a Hispanic descent. Other requirements that are needed by this scholarship program is that the candidate must be enrolled full time in a recognized nursing program whether it is LVN/LPN associate, diploma, baccalaureate or graduate level.
The applicant also needs to be a citizen of United States or at least a legal resident of the US. To fully qualify for the National Association of Hispanic Nurses’ Scholarships, the candidate must have a grade point average of no less than 3.0, and apart from the completed application form, the student also needs to submit other documents such as two letters of recommendation that are written by two faculty members, his or her resume which mentions certificates and awards received, as well as his or her involvement in the community. A copy of the applicant’s transcript is also required and W-2 form. Aside from these, the applicant must also write an essay of up to 500 words that discusses their growing up years.
