Certified residents of the state of North Carolina now can be aided in their pursuit of further and higher studies in any masters or PHD course in practical and administrative studies and have plans of enrolling again by applying for the Mary Lewis Wyche Fellowship. Interested applicant must have a Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 or higher.
The deadline for the submission of application has already passed but there is a chance that you might be awarded with this scholarship for next school year. There is a lot of similarity between scholarship givers. In the near future, this grant will be re-evaluated. For more information for next year’s awarding, check with the website at a later time.
The Mary Lewis Wyche Fellowship is being given out by the North Carolina Foundation for Nursing and has a monetary value of a maximum of 5,000 US dollars. It is not renewable.
The total number of successful applicants accepted differ from each year depending on how much funds are available.
The application forms for this scholarship can be downloaded from the North Carolina Foundation for Nursing web page. Other supporting documents the applicant must comply with are; a maximum of 300 words essay stating the applicants reasons for taking up higher studies, two recommendation letters from people the applicant personally knows, statement of the applicants community services, detailed factors on the applicants’ decision to study again on full-time, and his plans of contributing to the nursing field. Also copies of scholastic records must be submitted, and a copy of the acceptance letter. Deadlines are strictly observed.
