The March of Dimes has come up with scholarship funds that are aimed at aiding nursing students who aim to pursue further studies but are experiencing some sort of financial difficulties. The applicant must be a certified member of any of the following organizations; Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, the American College of Nurse-Midwives, the National Association of Neonatal Nurses or the Association of Women’s Health. Those who are employed in March of Dimes, part of their Board and any family member in the first degree are not allowed to apply.
There are some requirements that the applicant must satisfy. These are; applicants must be an RN, must be enrolled in post graduate studies in the field of neonatal nursing, applicant must at least have one more semester beyond the month of August when the scholarships are given out, applicant must now a previous awardee of the scholarship.
The monetary value of the scholarship is 5,000 US dollars. The deadline of the submission of applications is on the 15th of January every year.
