Linn Hogue Memorial Scholarship

The Linn Hogue Memorial Scholarship was founded to offer financial aid to the students who are experiencing financial difficulties which hinders them from pursuing their education. This scholarship program is open to the high school seniors who are citizens of the United States and have finished their high school from an Aurora, Colorado public high school.

Among the qualifications required by Linn Hogue Memorial Scholarship is that the candidate must pursue a degree in either Science, Technology, Engineering or Math and that he or she must be the first among his or her family members to graduate from college. The Linn Hogue Memorial Scholarship is awarded by the Aurora Public Schools Education Foundation, and recipients can expect to receive the amount of $2,000 worth of financial assistance.

The scholarship award for this program is given every year and is non- renewable. High school seniors who are intending to pursue any of the mentioned fields may obtain the application for the Linn Hogue Memorial Scholarship from the website of Aurora Public Schools Education Foundation.

Aside from the completed application, this scholarship program requires other supporting documents as well such as transcript of records, two letters of recommendation and an essay that has a maximum of one page. Students who are citizens of the United States and have graduated from an Aurora, Colorado public high school and are qualified to make an application to this scholarship program must prepare and submit the completed application along with the other requirements on or before the deadline which is set by the Linn Hogue Memorial Scholarship.
