This need-based scholarship was established in honor of Deloras Jones, RN, MSfor her dedication and leadership to education and nursing practice at Kaiser Permanente. There is no need for the applicant to be an employee or be affiliated with Kaiser Permanente. Applicants must also meet the minimum requirement for GPA that is 2.50 (on a scale of 4.00e) for the Affiliate Schools awards, a 3.80 for the Academic Excellence in Pre-licensure awards or a 3.00 for the Graduate or Doctoral Studies awards.
Qualifying for a scholarship entails providing sufficient proof of the needs for financial assistance and of course, good academic standing. There are other requirements aside from those mentioned before such as the ability to demonstrate leader skills and so on.
