Kaiser Permanente Deloras Jones RN Academic Excellence in Pre-Licensure Studies Scholarship

When applying for a scholarship, there are criteria to be met. Candidates applying to scholarships must be able to meet the high standards set by the donors. Scholarships are usually competitive and hence, as an applicant, you must be able to demonstrate why you need the scholarship and why you truly deserve that.

If you are a nursing student pursing any degree in nursing such as Associate’s Degree/ADN, Bachelor of Science/BSN or Master of Science/MSNor Doctoral program in Nursing and residing in California, you can avail of the Kaiser Permanente Deloras Jones RN Academic Excellence Scholarship. This need-based scholarship was established in honor of Deloras Jones, RN, MSfor her dedication and leadership to education and nursing practice at Kaiser Permanente. There is no need for the applicant to be an employee or be affiliated with Kaiser Permanente. Applicants must also meet the minimum requirement for GPA that is 2.50 (on a scale of 4.00e) for the Affiliate Schools awards, a 3.80 for the Academic Excellence in Pre-licensure awards or a 3.00 for the Graduate or Doctoral Studies awards.
