The Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) provides the scholarship award for the program called Jean Andrews Nursing Scholarship whose aim is to offer financial support to the students who are in need of financial assistance so they can complete their education. This scholarship program is open to both the undergraduate as well as the graduate students who are pursuing a degree as a Registered Nurse or a nursing education.
In order to qualify for the Jean Andrews Nursing Scholarship, the hopeful candidate needs to be a resident of Addison County in Vermont. The recipient of this scholarship award can expect to receive $1,200 worth of financial support that is good for the whole year and which is non- renewable. Two recipients are chosen each year by Jean Andrews Nursing Scholarship.
Students who are eligible to apply for this scholarship program may access the application from the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) website. The application for this program may either be completed online or in paper form whichever is convenient for the applicant. For the application to be valid, the candidate needs complete and submit VSAC Unified Scholarship Application, and the candidate is also required to submit an essay.
