The James E. Seitz KANS Endowed Scholarship is open to the citizens of the United States and who are residents of Kansas and are pursuing a degree in nursing. To qualify for this scholarship program, the potential candidate must be currently enrolled in a college or university also in the state of Kansas and that the applicant must be maintaining a grade of more than 3.0.
One of the important qualifications for the James E. Seitz KANS Endowed Scholarship is that the hopeful candidate must be a member of KANS (Kansas Association of Nursing Students). This scholarship grant gives out $300 worth of financial support to its most fortunate recipients. This award is given every year and is non- renewable.
The James E. Seitz KANS Endowed Scholarship chooses one recipient per year. Among the other requirements for this scholarship grant are the candidate’s official transcript of records, a narrative statement stating the candidate’s future role in nursing in Kansas, letter of acceptance indicating the candidate’s admission to the nursing program and 3 confidential letters of recommendation that comes from a faculty advisor and an employer.
It is important that the completed application along with the other supporting documents must all come in one packet, and that all the necessary requirements are to be submitted on or before its actual deadline.
