The Health Resources and Services Administration Bureau of Clinician Recruitment and Service or HRSA manages a scholarship program called Health Resources and Services Administration Bureau of Health Faculty Loan Repayment Program which has an objective to give financial aid to the degree trained health professionals who lacks the financial resources to fund their education and move forward to get a degree.
The loanable amount for this scholarship program is about $40,000 with a condition that the recipient of the Health Resources and Services Administration Bureau of Health Faculty Loan Repayment Program will practice and provide service for a minimum of two years on the faculty of a qualified university or college. When the recipient is able to fulfill this necessary obligation, the government then will pay up to $40,000 of the remaining principal plus any interest on the recipient’s educational loans.
