The Gordon W. and Agnes P. Cobb Scholarship was established to offer financial aid to the students who are in need of financial help so they can complete their education. In order to qualify for this scholarship program, candidates are required to fulfill the requirements that are requested by this scholarship grant.
Among the qualifications for Gordon W. and Agnes P. Cobb Scholarship, the potential candidate must be a high school senior or an undergraduate student who is a citizen of the United States, and is a resident of Blount, London or Knox counties in the state of Tennessee. So that the candidate will be eligible for this scholarship program, he or she needs to have a grade point average of no less than 3.0 and that he or she must be pursuing any degree that is related to the medical field.
Gordon W. and Agnes P. Cobb Scholarship is awarded by the East Tennessee Foundation, and the amount of financial assistance that this scholarship program extends to its recipients is worth $10,000. The scholarship award for this program is given every year and is renewable up to three years. Only one recipient is chosen every year by Gordon W. and Agnes P. Cobb Scholarship.
