The Geraldine Glee Nursing Scholarship Fund was created to provide financial help to the students who are experiencing financial difficulties and are unable to fund their education because of this circumstance. This scholarship program is open to the sophomore college students who are citizens of the United States.
Like any other scholarship programs, Geraldine Glee Nursing Scholarship Fund has its own set of requirements as well that the hopeful candidate must possess in order to be eligible for this scholarship program. Part of its requirements is that the candidate must be a resident of Boone County in West Virginia, and that he or she must major in nursing.
The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation (TGKVF) provides the award for this scholarship program, and the amount of financial assistance that it offers its recipients is worth $800. This scholarship award is given every year and is renewable up to three years if the student is able to maintain her academic standings as well as the program’s other criteria for eligibility. The recipient though is required to reapply. Only one recipient is selected by this scholarship program each year.
Interested candidates may obtain the application from The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation (TGKVF) website, and only online submissions will be accepted by the Geraldine Glee Nursing Scholarship Fund. This program does not require its candidate to complete the application immediately which is why the candidate needs to create a password so that he or she may finish the application later on.
Apart from the completed application, other documents are needed like recent federal income tax return and a transcript of records.
