For students pursuing a nursing degree program in the Sinclair School of Nursing of the University of Missouri, there are plenty of scholarship programs that are open. These scholarships are internal and hence, applying can be accomplished through the Office of Student Affairs of the Sinclair School or Nursing. An example of scholarship is the Fund the Drive for Nurses Scholarship Fund. This specific type of scholarship is open for nursing students who are currently enrolled on a full-time basis on any degree programs to the MU’s SSN.
In order to apply for this internal scholarship, students must submit their application to the Sinclair School of Nursing Office of Student Affairs. Once the scholarship application is received by the office, they will become eligible for this scholarship as well as to other internal scholarship (there are about 100 internal scholarships and other external ones) in which the applicants meet the eligibility requirements and criteria. It is also necessary for the students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid/FAFSA on file. Scholarships awardees and amounts they will receive usually vary from year to year.
The Fund the Drive for Nurses Scholarship Fund has one year duration. After the duration, students are eligible and can still apply to other partial or full scholarship offered by the student’s affairs office. Asking questions directly to the said office is recommended to further understand the process of application.
This scholarship can be your stepping stone in completing your degree program in nursing field and in achieving your dream career.
