Studying must be an integral part of all individuals. For students, education is a stepping stone to achieve their goals and dreams in life. There are many individuals dreaming of becoming a nurse in the future and nursing education is the way to their dream. However, the cost of education is continuously going up while the assistance for deserving students are not being on par with it. Nevertheless, many scholarship programs are being established and awarded to deserving students who are truly in need of the assistance in order for them to completer their nursing program and be able to serve the society.
For students pursuing nursing degree program in University of Missouri, they can apply for a scholarship internally. One of them is the Finch Family Scholarship Fund. This financial assistance is funded and established by Gail Finch Hubbell. This scholarship is awarded on annual basis to a students studying full-time at the Sinclair School of Nursing of the university.
In order to apply for this internal scholarship, students must submit their application to the Sinclair School of Nursing Office of Student Affairs. Once the scholarship application is received by the office, they will become eligible for this scholarship as well as to other internal scholarship (there are about 100 internal scholarships and other external ones) in which the applicants meet the eligibility requirements and criteria. It is also necessary for the students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid/FAFSA on file. Scholarships awardees and amounts they will receive usually vary from year to year.
