The East Tennessee Foundation provides the award for the Dr. Richard Forrest and Ella Dudney Kesley Memorial Scholarship Fund. This scholarship program was established to offer financial support to the high school senior students who are citizens of the United States and are graduating from Collierville high school in Shelby County in the state of Tennessee.
In order to be eligible for the Dr. Richard Forrest and Ella Dudney Kesley Memorial Scholarship Fund, the candidate must intend to become a professional educator or if not, he or she must pursue a career in the medical field. The amount of financial assistance that Dr. Richard Forrest and Ella Dudney Kesley Memorial Scholarship Fund provides is worth $1,000. This award is given every year, but is non- renewable, although there may be instances when this scholarship grant allows for the scholarship of a particular recipient to extend for some years.
This scholarship program chooses up to two recipients per year. Potential candidates who are qualified to make an application to this scholarship program may obtain an application from the East Tennessee Foundation website, but before the eligible candidate can start with his or her application process, he or she must first get a scholarship guide as well as the instruction for application so that he or she may be properly guided with regards to the process of the scholarship. These documents are also needed so that the applicant may know the other requirements or documents that he or she needs to prepare for submission.
All applications and other requirements must be submitted on or before the deadline.
