The Dermatology Nurses’ Association or DNA has successfully established a nursing scholarship grant that is aimed at helping out associate DNA members who are experiencing some sort of financial difficulty but are willing to pursue their education to achieve the titles of either Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. There are some requirements that applicants to this scholarship grant must fulfill. First is that they must be associate members of the DNA while enrolled in a nursing course. The second requirement is that they have to be active participants in the service for their community. Those who are awarded this scholarship are asked to submit an essay to the DNA’s semi-monthly publication called Focus within a year of being granted the scholarship.
The total amount of the grant sums up to two-thousand U.S. dollars. The deadline for the submission of applications is on the 31st of August.
