The Cynthia E. Morgan Scholarship is open to the high school junior or older students who are residents of Maryland. This scholarship program was established to offer financial support to the students who are presently enrolled in a college or university also in the state of Maryland. In order to qualify for the Cynthia E. Morgan Scholarship, the candidate must be taking up a program that would lead him or her to career in medicine or any other medical- related field.
This scholarship grant is awarded by Cynthia E. Morgan Scholarship Fund, and the amount of financial assistance that it extends to its recipients is worth $1,000. The scholarship award for this program is given every year and is non- renewable. The money that the recipient will receive is intended to be used for school related costs such as tuition, other fees, books, supplies and the like.
Apart from the completed application, candidates are also required to submit proof of attendance at a recognized post- secondary institution, as well as proof of fees that was acquired before being given the award. Only one award is given by Cynthia E. Morgan Scholarship each year. Students who are interested to make an application to this program may get the application from Cynthia E. Application may be made through email or by mail. Another requirement needed for this program is an essay that contains a minimum of 350 words and a maximum of 500 words that details on the candidate’s goals and aspirations and how they relate to his or her career, education and plans in the future.
