The Connie Scheffer Public Health Endowed Scholarship was founded to give support to the students of nursing who are US citizens and at the same time are residents of Kansas. It is also necessary for this scholarship program that the potential candidate is pursuing his or her degree in a college or university in the state of Kansas.
As in any other scholarship programs, the Connie Scheffer Public Health Endowed Scholarship has its own set of requirements as well. Part of the requirement for this scholarship grant is that the applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and that he or she is a Registered Nurse who is taking up a Bachelor of Science in the public health setting, or he or she is either a post graduate or a graduate student in public health nursing or public health.
The Connie Scheffer Public Health Endowed Scholarship is maintained by Kansas Nurses Foundation. This scholarship program gives out $500 worth of financial assistance to its recipients. This scholarship grant selects its recipients every year and is non- renewable. Part of the requirement is that the candidate must submit other supporting documents as well such as the applicant’s official transcript, a narrative statement of the applicant’s future role in the nursing industry in the state of Kansas when he or she has finished the program that he or she is enrolled in.
