The National Association of Hispanic Nurses’ Colorado Chapter has been giving out scholarship awards to nursing students who are members of the Hispanic Community. Hispanic students taking any of the following courses; Licensed Practical Nurse degree; Associate Nursing Degree; or a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Nursing are all eligible to apply for the scholarship.
There are some requirements that the student applicant must be able to fulfill. The first is that the student applicant must be a member of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses’ national organization and of the Colorado Chapter as well for at least a year. The student applicant must be enrolled during application in any nursing program listed above. The scholarship will be directly sent to the school. The student must have a Grade Point Average of not lower than 2.5. The applicant must be a practicing nurse or a nursing student in the state of Colorado.
Only one scholarship will be awarded per student.
