The Conway Regional Health System Foundation has successfully put up a scholarship fund that is aimed to help nursing students who are experiencing financial difficulties. They have named the scholarship grant The Clemmie Cook Nursing Scholarship. The foundation named it after Clemmie Cook for her sixty-years of active nursing practice and for all her contributions to the field of nursing. This scholarship grant is particularly focused at giving aid to those employees of The Conway Regional Health System and to its’ family members as well, with priority given to those who are taking a higher level of education in the field of nursing.
The total amount of the scholarship sums up to one-thousand U.S. dollars. The Clemmie Cook Nursing Scholarship lasts for a full year of enrollment. The deadline for the submission of applications is on the 1st of March. The only requirement that the applicant must fulfill is that he or she must be a certified resident or the state of Arkansas.
