The Emergency Nurses Association established a scholarship program that is programmed to benefit nursing students who are in pursuit of his or her degree but is experiencing financial difficulties. The scholarship grant is called the Charles Kunz Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship. It was established in the year 2005. It is named after the late Charles Kunz, who was the father of the association’s president, Paticia Kunz Howard.
The main requirement for an applicant to be successfully awarded this scholarship is that he or she must either be a Registered Nurse, a Licensed Practical Nurse or a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
The total amount to be awarded to the successful applicant sums up to three-thousand U.S. dollars. The scholarship award is good for a full year coverage of scholarly grants.
The deadline for the submission of applications falls on the 1st of June.
