The CBCF General Mills Health Scholarship was founded specifically to offer support and financial assistance to both the graduate as well as the undergraduate students who plan to study full time in an accredited university or college. In order to qualify for the CBCF General Mills Health Scholarship, the hopeful candidate is required to possess a grade point average of at least 2.75, and that he or she must intend to enter into a health related degree.
This scholarship program is awarded by Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Inc, and the amount of financial aid that it offers is worth $2,500. This scholarship grant chooses its recipients every year and the award is non- renewable. For every year, up to 46 recipients are selected by CBCF General Mills Health Scholarship.
Aside from the completed application, this scholarship program requires other supporting documents as well such as the candidate’s photo, a personal statement that contains a minimum of 500 words and a maximum of 1,000 words that talks about the topics listed in the application.
