The Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) awards the scholarship for the program called Burlington Business and Professional Women’s Organization Science and Technology Scholarship. This scholarship grant is open to the female students who are residents of Vermont and the candidate must also be at least 25 years old in order to qualify.
Also among the other requirements for this scholarship program is that the female student needs to be a resident of any of the following counties such as Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle or Lamoille, and that she must be pursuing a degree in education or training in the field of Science or technology.
Burlington Business and Professional Women’s Organization Science and Technology Scholarship offers the amount of $1,000 worth of financial assistance to its recipients. This scholarship award selects one recipient every year and is non- renewable. Female students of Vermont may obtain the application through Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) website, and the application may be completed either online or in printed form.
The candidate only needs to submit one application for all the scholarships for which she intends to make an application to, and if however certain documents are required for the other scholarships that she applied in, she just needs to submit only one copy of the documents as well.
In order to be considered for this scholarship program, the candidate should be able to complete and submit the VSAC Unified Scholarship application, as well as an essay written by the candidate. This program also requires its candidates to strictly follow the detailed instructions in the VSAC scholarships booklet.
