Bethesda's Developmental Disabilities Scholarship for Lutheran Nursing Students

The Bethesda Lutheran Homes and Services has established a scholarship grant that is aimed at helping out the financial capabilities of nursing students. The scholarship grant is called the Bethesda’s Developmental Disabilities Scholarship for Lutheran Nursing Students. There are a number of requirements that applicants to this scholarship grant must be able to satisfy.

The first requirement is that the student must in pursuit in taking up a course in the nursing related to developmental disabilities. The second is that student must be a current member of the Lutheran community. Third, he or she must be in his or her senior year in college. The fourth requirement that they must fulfill is that the applicants must have volunteered for at 100 hours working in developmental disabilities. Lastly they must have a Grade Point Average of at least 3.0.

Additionally, these senior nursing students can enroll in Lutheran studies in a school affiliated with ELCA, LCMS, NALC, ELS or WELS. Once they enter seminary life, they will be considered freshmen or sophomores.

The whole rant adds up to three-thousand U.S. dollars. The deadline for applications is on the 15th of April.
