The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses or AORN has successful y established a scholarship fund that is intended to help aid nursing students who are in need of financial assistance. The scholarship grant was put up in the year 2001. The scholarship is called The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) Foundation Nursing Student Degree Scholarship. The main focus of The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) Foundation Nursing Student Degree Scholarship is to help those nursing students who are currently on the way in taking their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. These nursing students need not be a member of The Association of periOperative Registered Nurses or AORN.
There are some requirements that the applicants must fulfill strictly though. The main requirement is that they are enrolled in a nursing school that is under the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission nursing program.
The deadline for submission of application is on the 15th of June.
