American Legion Auxiliary, Dept. of Missouri Past President's Parley Scholarship

The Missouri branch of the American Legion Department was founded on August the 1st in the year 1920. At as of this day, the Legion has more than 44,000 members found all over Missouri.

As an additional and committed service to the different communities, cities and the state of Missouri, the American Legion Auxiliary, Missouri Department, a group that is made up of war time veterans established the Past Presidents’ Parley. It is a scholarship program for those who want to enter nursing in the military service. There are certain requirements that must be satisfied by those who want to avail of this scholarship program.

The first requirement is that the applicant must be an American or a Citizen of the United States.

The second requirement is that the applicant must establish residency in the State of Missouri for at least one year.

The scholarship program will take up one whole year. The applicant will be awarded a scholarship program five-hundred U.S. dollars. The deadline of application is on or before the 1st of March.
