The Alice/Jeanne Wagner Endowment Scholarship is open to both the citizens of the United States as well as international students who wish to study in the United States. This scholarship grant is awarded by the ESA (Epsilon Sigma Alpha) Foundation. In order to qualify for the Alice/ Jeanne Wagner Endowment Scholarship, the potential candidate needs to have a grade point average of no less than 3.0.
This scholarship program offers $1,200 worth of financial assistance to its recipients. This award is given every year and is non- renewable. The award that the recipient will receive is intended to cover fees such as tuition or registration fees, books, dormitory fees or other expenses that are related to his or her education. The award will be made payable to the university or the college where the recipient will study. Should the recipient transfer to another school, he or she must inform the scholarship director the soonest time possible.
Alice/Jeanne Wagner Endowment Scholarship selects two recipients every year. Application for this scholarship program may be obtained through the Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA) website. To complete the requirements for this scholarship grant, the candidate must submit a filled up application along with other supporting documents that needs to be uploaded to the online application.
Other documents required by this scholarship program are transcript of records, SAT/ ACT documentation, two letters of recommendation, a personal essay that reveals the candidate’s career plans, as well as the candidate’s reason for applying for the scholarship and why he or she must be chosen. The candidate also needs to mention his or her service and leadership accomplishments.
A $5 application fee is required to make an application.
