The Air Force ROTC Nursing Scholarships was founded to give Air Force members who lack the financial capacity to further their education and give them the chance to pursue a career as an Air Force Nurse. This scholarship program is available to the members of the Air Force who are citizens of the United States.
In order to qualify for the Air Force ROTC Nursing Scholarships, the applicant is required to pass the Air Force Office Qualifying Test as well as the Air Force ROTC Physical Fitness Test. Apart from passing these tests, the candidate must also have a grade point average of no less than 2.5, and that he or she must either be a sophomore or junior who is majoring in Nursing at an approved CCNE or NLN university or college.
The scholarship award that is worth $18k that the recipient will receive is intended to fund the student’s educational expenses which include tuition and other fees, and at the same time he or she will get an additional $900 to cover the expenses for the books. All interested applicants must be aware that the high school ROTC applications will be available starting June 15, and all completed applications together with the other supporting documents must be submitted to the Air Force ROTC Nursing Scholarships on or before its deadline which is on December 1.
